The Photo

I have received quite a few emails about the photo used in the logo on the home page in the short time that this site has been live, so here are answers to the most frequently asked questions.

Q. Is this an official Borland image for C#Builder?
A. No.

Q. What is the photo of?
A. Cradle Mountain in Tasmania, Australia.

Q. Where did you get it?
A. I took this photo about half way along the summit walk, about 6 to 7 hours return, when on holiday there in November, 2000. This walk is definitely not for the faint-hearted or for people scared of heights.

Q. Are you a photographer?
A. No, a software developer! I do have an interest in photography though. For those interested there are more photos on my personal site.

It's strange how such a photo can be so distracting to visitors obviously looking for information on software development!
